Filtering Inquiries
The CuVo portal allows you to use filters to refine and narrow down data so that you can effectively analyze the reduced amount of data and gain actionable insights.
In the following example, we are showing you how to filter data on the Feedback page. You can follow similar steps to filter the bugs and feature request data.
1. Click Feedback & Bugs on the Left Navigation Menu.

By default, the Feedback page is displayed.

2. Click Filter.
The Filter dropdown list is displayed with the relevant options for narrowing down the data.

3. Select the required criteria to filter the data from the Filter dropdown list.
The Feedback data is filtered based on the criteria selected in the filter and the filter applied is displayed on the Feedback page.

You can create a new filter or edit a filter that has been created to meet your filter criteria.
Creating/Editing/Deleting Filters
In the following example, we are showing you how to create a new filter for the Bugs page. You can follow similar steps to create filters on the Feedback and Feature Request pages.
1. Click Feedback & Bugs on the Left Navigation Menu.

The Feedback page is displayed.

2. Click Bugs.
The Bugs page is displayed.

3. Click Filter.
The Filter dropdown list is displayed.

4. Click Create/Manage.
The Filter dialog is displayed.

Note: The Products & Versions field is auto-populated based on the selected product which you can update in the Products & Versions widget on the Feedback page.
5. Enter a unique title for the filter in the Filter title field.
6. Select the date range if required from the Start Date and End Date dropdown list.
7. Select the Severity, Commenters, Category, and Attachment from the respective dropdown list. Note that the dropdown list will vary depending on the page you are on.
8. Click ADD FILTER.
The Advanced Filter section is displayed.

9. Select the required attribute, condition, and Value from the respective dropdown list.
10. Click APPLY.
The filter is created and applied to the data.

You can edit the created filter when required by clicking Saved Filter in the Filter dialog.

The list of created filters is displayed.

Click the 📝 icon in the row of the filter you wish to edit and update the required fields as needed and save the update.

You can also delete a filter that is no longer required by clicking the 🗑 icon in the row of the filter and confirming the deletion.
